SERENDAH, 9 April 2014 - YBK Single Mother Entrepreneur Development Unit meeting was held at Asrama Kasih YBK Serendah. The meeting was chaired by Datin Hartini Osman, Chairman of YBK Single Mother Entrepreneur Development Unit. Also present was the chairman of Association of Single Mothers Batang Kali, Taman Bunga Raya, Sungai Choh as well as officer of YBK Cooperative, Ms. Rafizah Ibrahim.

The meeting discussed the direction of the unit, particularly focused on frozen food products to be marketed in YBK 1 Malaysia Co-Op Store. The store are expected to be operational in May 2014. For the initial phase, the frozen food to be promoted are such as 'Kek Kasturi'; curry puff; sardine roll; 'Kek Boom'; Bengkulu Tarts; and 'Kuih Badak'.

Hopefully the initiative will be a 'stepping stone' for the operators of fast food to come out with products that can penetrate the fast food market.
