SERENDAH, 25 Ogos 2026 - Sempena program Majlis Sambutan Maulidur Rasul "Malam Cinta Rasul & YBK Berselawat" 1448H, telah diadakan Pertandingan Nasyid NGO-NGO Hulu Selangor pada sebelah petang.

Pertandingan kali pertama ini menampilkan hadiah wang tunai, sijil dan piala pusingan Dato' Zainal Abidin Sakom kepada juara keseluruhan. Sebanyak 8 kumpulan nasyid telah bertanding dengan mendendangkan lagu wajib "Junjungan Mulia" dan satu lagu pilihan.

Pengerusi Asrama Kasih Yayasan Basmi Kemiskinan (YBK) merangkap Pengerusi Program Maulidur Rasul, YBhg. Datin Dr. (h.c.) Hartini Osman hadir menyaksikan persembahan setiap kumpulan. Turut hadir, Encik Muhammad Sherhan Nizam Abdul Aziz (Pengurus Besar YBK), penyokong kumpulan serta masyarakat setempat.

Juri yang menilai persembahan melihat kepada empat perkara utama iaitu keharmonian vokal, sebutan lirik, kreativiti persembahan, serta penghayatan dalam pemberian markah. Setiap kumpulan yang bertanding telah memberikan persembahan bertenaga.

Keputusan pertandingan diumumkan pada sesi sebelah malam dengan edisi pertama pertandingan telah dimenangi oleh Kumpulan Azzahra Mawaddah dari NGO Zarra Fitness. Hadiah pertandingan telah disampaikan oleh YBhg. Datuk Mohd Isa Abu Kasim bersama YB Senator Datuk Rosni binti Sohar (Ahli Dewan Negara).

HULU SELANGOR NGO NASYID COMPETITION ENLIVENS MAWLID AL-RASUL CELEBRATION

SERENDAH, 25 August 2026 – In conjunction with the Mawlid al-Rasul Celebration, “Malam Cinta Rasul & YBK Berselawat” 1448H, the Hulu Selangor NGO Nasyid Competition was held in the afternoon.

The inaugural competition featured cash prizes, certificates, and the Dato' Zainal Abidin Sakom Challenge Trophy for the overall champion. A total of eight nasyid groups competed, performing the compulsory song “Junjungan Mulia” as well as one song of their choice.

YBhg. Datin Dr (h.c) Hartini Osman, Chairperson of Asrama Kasih Yayasan Basmi Kemiskinan (YBK) and Chairperson of the Mawlid al-Rasul Program, attended the event and witnessed the performances by each participating group. Also present were Mr. Muhammad Sherhan Nizam Abdul Aziz, General Manager of YBK, supporters of the participating groups, and members of the local community.

The judging panel evaluated the performances based on four key criteria: vocal harmony, lyric pronunciation, performance creativity, and overall expression and interpretation. Each participating group delivered an energetic and engaging performance.

The results were announced during the evening session, with the inaugural competition won by Azzahra Mawaddah, representing Zarra Fitness NGO. The prizes were presented by YBhg. Datuk Mohd Isa Abu Kasim together with YB Senator Datuk Rosni binti Sohar, Member of the Dewan Negara.
