Weekend tuition group (KUNTUM) is a poverty eradication program via education. It has been conducted by YBK since 1993 whereby each year free tuition classes for SPM candidates are provided from March till October. The tuition classes are held in the evening (after normal schooling hours) or on the weekends (Saturday & Sunday) with 20 students in each class. Those selected to follow this program are the students who are sitting for the exam from poor families who are unable to afford private tuition.
KUNTUM is carried out with the support of school principals and the involvement of teachers in the selected schools. The schools involved in KUNTUM programs are rural schools all over the nation. Students who undergo this programs are those coming from poor families.
The subjects that are taught in the KUNTUM program are as follows: Malay Language, English Language, Modern Maths, Additional Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Science Stream), Commerce and Accounting.
