This is a socio-economic programme allotted by Ministry of Rural Development to YBK on 6 July 1999. An amount of RM486,300.00 has been approved by the Ministry concerned to carry out Honey Guava Plantation Program, Vegetable Plantation, Oil Palm Collection and Sewing Programme.
 
Honey Guava
Honey Guava Plantation Program is the plantation program of honey guava in each house in Desa Kasih Merbau Berdarah. YBK had allotted 6 honey guava saplings for each family to be planted around their houses. The proceeds from selling the honey guava is expected to increase the income of the participants.
 
Vegetable Plantation
This program enable the participants to get nutritious food source apart from generating extra income, each participating family in Desa Kasih is encouraged to provide lots to be planted with vegetables around their houses. There are some participants who carry out the vegetable plantation program and rear free range chickens and ducks nearby this settlement as a extra source of income.

Oil Palm Collection
This programme began in mid 2000 when YBK received joint venture offer from Koridor Padu Sdn. Bhd., a company with expertise in purchasing and selling of oil palm. Based on the said joint venture, initial stages of work in providing the weighing stations has been started on the foundation that was recommended by the company. However, the execution of the program had been completed in 2003 when it was handed over to Desa Kasih Merbau Berdarah Cooperation Berhad.

Cooperative
The cooperation application had been sent to District of Sabak Bernam Department of Cooperation Development on 30 th July 1999. The establishment of the cooperation is meant to help the participants to get involved in various business fields such as the purchasing and selling of farm produce. The cooperation was officially established on 6th September 2002. Among the activities of the participants at that point of time were fresh fruit bunch program, sewing workshop and the selling of rice to the participants.

Sewing Programme
22 housewives and single mothers had underwent this project as interns for 6 months. Each intern was paid an allowance of RM10.00 per day for the entire duration of the training. 16 trainees of the tailoring workshop are now working full time as workers at the tailoring workshop by getting income based on piece rate. Each worker is estimated to received income ranging between RM400 to RM500 a month. The training workshop was eventually assigned to Desa Kasih Merbau Berdarah Cooperation as their economic activity.
