Sinar Kasih Ramadan is a program to raise awareness among the public and the corporate sector to give alms to the poor families nationwide in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan in which muslim observe it as the month of fasting. The concept of this program is to give cash donations to buy food for breaking the fast and meal requirements for selected poor families. Total food requirements for each poor family is assessed and measured against Poverty Line Income Statistics issued by the Department of Statistics.

OBJECTIVES

1) A concerted effort to educate, mobilize and raise awareness of the practice of charity.
2) To provide adequate basic rate during the month of Ramadan for the poor.
3) Produce the meaning of grace as it appears from an appreciation of the impact of human and Islam.
