Human Mind Development Programme of Desa Kasih Merbau Berdarah is an attitude correctional program for the people from Housing Project of The Hardcore Poor (PPRT) as recommended by the Ministry of Rural Development and allotted a sum of RM304,000.00 to YBK on 16th December 1999.

YBK has appointed several consulting firms that have the expertise in human mind development. The firms concerned are BPM International Sdn. Bhd., NMS Top Consultant Sdn. Bhd., Qaida Sdn. Bhd. and Pusat Tenaga Insan Sdn. Bhd.

The SIKAP Program was performed towards the target groups that have been divided into 3 groups which consisted of head of household (KIR), members of the household (AIR) - housewives and children of the participants.

Module

Change Agent (Leadership Course, Human Development Course, Effective Communication Course, Team Spirit Course, Head of the Household Management Course and Basic Entrepreneurial Leadership Course), Human Development Course - (Parenting and Neighbourhood, Head of the Household Seminar, Computer Tutoring Class), Seminar - (Career Guidance, Entrepreneurship Workshop) and Student (Tuition Classes for all Form 3,4 and 5, Computer Class, Education Excellence Camp during school holidays).

There had been an increase in the number of participants that participated in community and religious activities that were held from time to time.

The participants paid attention to the cleanliness of their houses and the surrounding ares of their settlement.

They dared to voice their opinions and views in a certain matter without fear and shyness.

Encouraged the students towards educational excellence.

The participants started small scale business to increase sources of income.

YBK opinionated that the execution of this program had managed to enhance the attitude by increasing knowledge and new experiences of the participants towards a proper lifestyle and not to be left behind in the wave of development
